Santa Rosa de Chipaya, Altiplano, Bolivia..Right outside the newer structures erected by international NGOs, clusters of traditional round adobe houses were situated around the village of Santa Rosa de Chipaya. Some were covered by thatched roofs; some roofs were made from the adobe walls that tapered up into a conical shape. All were set among potato and quinoa fields and surrounded by the desert.
